Welcome back to all VISP students and parents. In particular, a very warm welcome to the many new families who are joining us this academic year. We hope that you enjoy your time at our school.
As was the case last term, this term we will be constrained by a number of policies designed to ensure the safety and welfare of students and staff at the school. With the Seychelles border now open, it is vital that the ongoing health of our community remains the top priority throughout this term. We will therefore continue to abide by the COVID-19 policies drawn up in May, a copy of which can be found here.
This website is designed to give you as much information as possible about our school. Whether you are a parent/guardian looking for a school for your child, a prospective employee of the school or a potential sponsor, we hope that this information will be useful to you.
Please, if you are in the Seychelles, feel welcome to come and see us personally or email me at [email protected] for the most up to date information about our school. We are a fairly new school with an exciting journey ahead.
VISP closed it’s doors to students and teaching staff on 16th March 2020, immediately after the announcement of a case of COVID-19 in Seychelles. This was done as precautionary measure and was done prior to the government schools on Praslin making that decision. Cleaning staff remained on site and disinfected the school site from 16th March until 27th March. All classrooms, bathrooms and outdoor surfaces were deep cleaned and disinfected as well as commonly used items like toys and teacher tools. This was done in accordance with WHO guidelines for cleaning which were available at that time.
We don’t just give students an education and experiences that set them up for success in a career. We help them succeed in their career—to discover a field they’re passionate about and dare to lead it.
